Manual Entry
Ingredients are at the core of Allergen Intelligence. It is important that the information input at the ingredient level is as accurate and up to date as possible as this filters down to every other area of Allergen Intelligence.
- Navigate to 'Ingredients' from the main menu.
- Click on the green 'New Ingredient' button located in the top right hand corner.
- Enter basic ingredient details in the modal window.
- Click 'Create'. The new ingredient has been created.
- Fill in all the necessary information on each of the following tabs:
- Info Composition (see compound ingredients for more information.)
- Nutritionals
- Allergens
- Tags
- Alias
TIP: Save each tab before moving on to the next. Data will not remain while switching between tabs unless it has been saved!
Once you have all the information filled in, make sure to mark the ingredient as 'Enabled' on the Info tab so you can use this ingredient in your recipes.
